Rob Shelsky is an avid and eclectic writer and averages about 4,000 words a day. Rob, with a degree in science, has written a large number of factual articles for the former AlienSkin Magazine, as well as for other magazines, such as Doorways, Midnight Street (U.K.), Internet Review of Science Fiction (IROSF), and many others. While at AlienSkin Magazine, a resident columnist there for seven years, Rob did a number of investigative articles, including some concerning the paranormal, as well as columns about UFOs, including interviews of those who have had encounters with them. Rob also writes fiction, including science fiction, horror, fantasy, and paranormal. His trilogy, the Apocrypha, is currently with Permuted Press.

Rob has been interviewed on a large number of shows, including Coast-To-Coast AM Radio show, House of Mystery, The Kevin Cook Show, Art Bells Midnight In The Desert, The Warren XChange, Mysterious Radio, and many others. He has often and over a long period, explored the alien and UFO question and has made investigative trips to research such UFO hot spot areas as Pine Bush, New York, Gulf Breeze, Florida, and other such regions, including Brown Mountain, North Carolina, known, for the infamous “Brown Mountain Lights,” as well as having investigated numerous places known for paranormal activity. 
He has traveled abroad to do this, as well, as with traveling to sites in the United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries where UFOs have been reported. Rob was a member of MUFON, and a Field Investigator for this group. The author was even invited to speak at the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. The author has many books on the various topics of UFOs, paranormal phenomena, and extraterrestrials.

Rob was also the on-camera expert for a new UFO show in development for the Travel Chanel through Karga 7 Studios in Los Angeles. Robs fiction credentials are extensive. Combined with his nonfiction books, he has a total of some 78 books published. These include, science fiction (thrillers), paranormal novels, including fantasy, horror, and more.
