In 1976, The Makers young mind was exposed to something out of the ordinary, 
a television show called In Search Of, an early investigative program
that explored the unusual and narrated by the voice of Star Trek’s
Mr. Spock. It was the first time The Maker had heard of such 
strange and exotic topics. Never before had he considered such strange 
possibilities, and the message of the show, Always Look At 
Possibilities, remains with him to this day.  It was two years 
after hearing Leonard Nimoy narrate those mysterious and unique 
experiences that The Maker first heard a label describing him as 
Autistic. He was very confused by what those specialists had said. 
He protested ”I can’t draw or paint or anything.” “Not artistic” 
the specialists said. “Autistic. It means you are different. You 
won’t ever be like other kids.” The Maker surprised the specialists when 
he said, ”Thank god because the other kids are weird!” And with that said, he 
knew he would walk a different path.
