The Hauntings Of Nye is an old radio tradition with a new name. Art Bell started the tradition of a live, unscreened, call in radio show that was nothing but your ghost stories all night long on Halloween night. He would read your ghost stories sent to him via email, fax, and take your unscreened calls, live on the air, convincing us all that Ghosts are real. His idea took on a life of it’s own very quickly and the tradition has held to this day, loved and looked forward to by listeners around the world all year, every year. It is a night of the unexplained, the unexpected, the mystery, the magic, and your stories through the night to leave us pondering for long after. Many shows across the dial and the internet will be a gathering of people, telling their tales of encounters with the Other Side; we raise our drinks to salute all of them tonight! It started here, in the High Desert & The Great American South West, and it is a treasure beyond words that I am your host to carry on Art’s Great Halloween tradition from his own chair. Tonight, The Kingdom Of Nye becomes The Hauntings Of Nye and welcome to it!
