March 16th, 2020 - John Grasson - Lost Ship of the Desert
John is a traveler, explorer, research technician, desert photographer, and truth seeker. To him, the treasure has always been in the story and not necessarily in gold or silver. He is considered the leading authority on the Lost Ship of the Desert, the Black Gold of Pegleg Smith, and is a PROUD member of the Billy Holcomb chapter of E Clampus Vitus.
He has been featured on several TV networks from the American Heroes Channel Lost Ship of the Mojave, the Travel Channel Legend Hunter, America Unearthed Lost Ship of the Viking and two shows on the Science Channel Mysteries of the Missing, and recently Unexplained and Unexplored.
John was also the co-host of the Death Valley Jim Radio program which aired on KPTR-1450-AM out of Palm Springs California. He was featured in an article from Newsweek magazine, and was a guest on Midnight in the Desert (the old Art Bell show). John is also currently working on the most complete book about the Lost Ships of the Desert.
