Leslie's 10 Oak Saplings

Here are my oak babies. As you did with your tree, I germinated them after storing them in the refrigerator, keeping them damp and covered with leafy material. Of the original fourteen acorns, two opened but grew no further than the stem peeking out, and ten grew into the trees you see. Although they are borne of the same tree, they have different personalities, showing different leaf sizes, leaf colours as they grow, and sensitivities to sun and temperature.
